TOTAL E-QUALITY

Our university received the "TOTAL E-QUALITY" award on 18 July 2011 and again on 27 October 2014.

The board of trustees of the initiative TOTAL E-QUALITY Germany is dedicated to establishing and ensuring equal opportunities for working men and women. They focus on promoting women in management positions. In addition to achieving a work-family balance, the goal is to foster equal opportunities in recruitment and employee development, further mutual cooperation at the workplace, and include equal rights in company statutes.

TOTAL E-QUALITY (TEQ) stands for Total Quality Management (TQM), supplemented by the gender equality component. The Federal Ministry for Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Adolescents supports this initiative.

TEQ is a self-evaluation instrument to comprehensively assess the status quo in the following seven facets, by describing all current measures in place and help develop each individual aspect.

  • Employee recruitment and job assignments
  • Career and personnel development
  • A work-life balance
  • Institutionalised equal rights policies
  • Planning and control instruments for organisational development
  • Research, teaching and studies
