Competencies acquired by graduates

The graduates of our programme have been taught to:

  • Work in a practical and targeted manner,
  • Comprehend robotics products and find solutions rapidly, and thus get quickly involved in their development, operation, service and marketing,
  • Comprehend advanced issues in robotics, analyse them and apply an appropriate technical response based on learnt problem-solving approaches,
  • Precisely note/describe difficult issues in robotics and appropriately prepare and present these to an interdisciplinary project team or customers,
  • Derive practical solutions from theoretical research findings and derive marketable robotics and autonomous systems.

Conveying key qualifications

In our programme, we strive to convey the following key qualifications to graduates for their professional life:

  • Analytical mindset
  • Maintaining a sense of responsibility and acting ethically
  • Comprehending and communicating for the interdisciplinary robotics profession with emphasis on the fields of service and nursing robotics, as well as intelligent assistance systems and autonomous solutions
  • Outlining practical and realistic solutions
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Teamwork
  • Interdisciplinary communication skills
  • Conveying complex correlations and presentations designed for the listener
  • Dealing with operating organisations and necessary tasks
