As a graduate of our programme, you will …

  • Acquire a broad, detailed understanding of the theory behind hearing sciences and hearing technology. You will also acquire sound knowledge of the methods, problems and results of the latest research in the fields of auditory perception and audio signal processing.
  • Possess profound knowledge and understanding of the principles of auditory processing and evaluation, mathematical modelling of the auditory process and algorithmic methods of signal processing and analysis.
  • Master not only the competencies directly related to auditory acoustics, but also current technologies for medical imaging and processing, as applied regularly in auditory research.
  • Have broad technical competencies supplementing your auditory and medical engineering knowledge. You will know about current technical achievements in hearing aids and other technologies for auditory presentations.
  • Be capable of addressing current and future tasks in an audiology office with a scientific and multidisciplinary approach.
  • combine your knowledge from the various fields and thus contribute to the further development of hearing acoustics and audiological technology as a scientific discipline.
