The bachelor and master programmes in medical informatics focus on technologies and methods for computer aided medicine and healthcare. In addition to a thorough education in informatics, medicine, mathematics, and medical engineering, students can acquire deeper knowledge in three specializations:

Medical Imagen and Signal Processing
In the bachelor degree program in medical informatics courses are taught only in German. To participate as an exchange student in these courses, you must have a good command of German.
The master degree program in medical informatics will be offered in the winter term 2014/15 for the first time.

Although the majority of the courses in the degree programmes are taught in German, there are a number of courses taught in English that are suitable for exchange students.
