Rest areas for pregnant and breastfeeding persons

Now available on campus

The University of Lübeck provides three rooms for employees and students on campus that breastfeeding individuals can use as a place to retreat and rest.

To access the rooms, a quiet room lock card is required, which can be ordered from the Equal Opportunity and Family Unit, from Babett Bernitt (contact information below):

- Building 58.500

Container behind AudiMax, V1/V2; on the left (door sign "Parent's Office").

Equipment: resting couch, child's travel bed, desk and chair; access to kitchenette. Usable during building hours: Mon-Fri, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The room is generally locked. Access by locking card "Rest rooms".

- Building 64

Entrance opposite building 63, ground floor left (former Parent's Office) Access through locked mail room by "Rest Rooms" locking card. Equipment: resting couch, changing table (foldable), table, chair.

Can also be used by "non-64ers*" during building opening hours: Mon. - Fri., 6:00 - 20:00.

The room is freely accessible and lockable from the inside.

- Building 67 (BMF)

Main entrance BMF, ground floor, right, room 067.000 00 031.00 (first aid room)

Access through locked laboratory wing of pathology via locking card "Rest rooms". Equipment: resting couch, washbasin, desk and chair.

Can also be used by "non-BMFers" during the opening hours of the building:

Mon. - Fri., 6:00 - 20:00.

The room is freely accessible and lockable from the inside.

Students can also use the lounge areas of the Central University Library (ZHB, Building 60) during the regular opening hours of the building.
