• Take preventive measures and provide counselling on sexual discrimination, violence and stalking/cyber stalking
  
• Institute a workplace policy and provide counselling on domestic violence
  
• Serve as the contact for all internal and external queries / equal rights reports / studies-work-life balance / sexual discrimination and violence
  
• Equal rights plan and concept
  
• Handle public affairs in this department
  
• Individually advise all members of the university, in the named departments
  
• Offer advice on research projects to integrate measures concerning equal rights and a work-life balance
  
• Monitor and control compliance with equal rights requirements during recruitment and professor appointment proceedings
  
• Serve as the speaker at the state conference of equal rights officers for Schleswig-Holstein universities
  
• Serve as the speaker for the "Sexual discrimination and violence" commission at the federal conference of officers for women and equal rights at universities
  
• Chair the advisory board of the coordination office for equal rights officers in the State of Schleswig-Holstein
  
• Function as the diversity officer
  
• Perform tasks pursuant to §27 of HSG (Higher Education Act)
