Role and Accountability
- Head of department
- Equal rights officer
- Perform the tasks pursuant to §27 of HSG (Higher Education Act)
- Manage the project to assess compliance as a "Family-friendly university"
- Manage the project entitled, “TOTAL E-QUALITY”
- Head of equal rights committee
- Head of children’s day care commission at the university
- Serve as the ombudsman pursuant to the general non-discrimination act
- Take preventive measures and provide counselling on sexual discrimination, violence and stalking/cyber stalking
- Institute a workplace policy and provide counselling on domestic violence
- Serve as the contact for all internal and external queries / equal rights reports / studies-work-life balance / sexual discrimination and violence
- Equal rights plan and concept
- Handle public affairs in this department
- Individually advise all members of the university, in the named departments
- Offer advice on research projects to integrate measures concerning equal rights and a work-life balance
- Monitor and control compliance with equal rights requirements during recruitment and professor appointment proceedings
- Serve as the speaker at the state conference of equal rights officers for Schleswig-Holstein universities
- Serve as the speaker for the "Sexual discrimination and violence" commission at the federal conference of officers for women and equal rights at universities
- Chair the advisory board of the coordination office for equal rights officers in the State of Schleswig-Holstein
- Function as the diversity officer
- Perform tasks pursuant to §27 of HSG (Higher Education Act)
